What a credit buys
Every request uses a fixed, published number of credits. Batch requests count as one API call against your rate limit and bill per location.
Geocode
1 credit
Address → coordinates with stated accuracy — coarse matches are refused, never guessed.
Fields
1 credit per field per location
Any of 285 cited, typed facts about a location.

A natural-language question about any US location, answered with cited fields.
Lookup
300 credits
Address or coordinates → canonical parcel, parcel ID, boundary geometry, and owner of record, plus county and census-tract codes. Charged only on a successful match.
Proximity
12 credits per driving calculation
Drive-time distance & matrix, nearest-N (airports, substations, power plants, rail, ports, urban areas), drive-time screening, and labor-shed population. Per-call floors: distance 2, nearest 2, screen 5, labor_shed 25 credits, plus 1 credit per address you send instead of a coordinate (max 25/request). Straight-line mode skips the per-calc charge and bills only the floor.

FAQ
What happens when I run out of credits?
Every plan pauses until credits reset — calls are refused rather than billed, so you can’t run up a charge you didn’t choose. Upgrading raises your plan’s allowance right away; if you’ve also set your own spend limit in the dashboard, that one keeps binding until you raise it too. Credits reset on the 1st (UTC).
Do credits roll over?
No — the allowance resets on the 1st (UTC) and unused credits don’t carry over.
When do credits reset?
On the 1st of each month (UTC), for every plan. If you subscribe mid-month you get your full credit allowance for the remainder of the month — then a fresh allowance on the 1st.
What is a field request?
A field the catalog doesn’t have yet. You describe the value you need and where you’d expect it, and it goes to the team that builds fields. Your ask is matched against the catalog first, so a field we already serve costs you nothing but the lookup. Free accounts get one at signup; paid plans get a monthly allowance.
Why does Lookup cost more?
It’s backed by authoritative county parcel records with per-record licensing. You’re only charged when we return a verified match, and it requires explicit spend authorization in the API call. Enterprise lookup pricing is quoted per account. Lookup is available on every plan including Free — the credit price is the only limit, so a Free account can look up about 16 parcels a month.
